Pronoun is Closing its Doors (And yes, that screws Huntress.)

Well, some things are just not meant to be, I suppose. Due to the closure of Pronoun (the publisher for Huntress,) it is unlikely I'll be able to attempt the bestseller run as intended–unless Amazon can save the day.

Which I doubt.

I have emailed Amazon to inquire if my book can be merged to my account with preorders preserved. I doubt it. In good news, I won't be penalized by Amazon, but in bad news, I won't be able to resume the Huntress preorder until March or April of 2018.

This likely means I won't attempt a bestseller run on this novel anymore, although I will release it (probably) on the same date and keep it priced at $0.99 for a week following launch to keep my promise to have it affordable for those who were committed to buy it at $0.99.

This is pretty awful for me, as I was really looking forward to having fun with the preorder.

I'm incredibly disappointed, especially as over a hundred of you had put faith in me and my book already.

I may very well try again to make the preorder and bestseller run happen for this title, although I'll need to take a different tactic with the launch.

Yes, the coloring book is still going to happen. I have already downloaded the list of people who wanted a copy of the coloring book (which, interestingly enough, was almost exactly the number of people who'd preordered.)

I'm still doing the coloring book, which will still be sent to people who have helped thus far, expected in June 2018.

Thank you for your understanding. I have no control over this, and while I reached out to Amazon to inquire about the preorders, I'm not expecting good news.
